Wayfinding System
Within all of the designs (including a new logo, interior and exterior signage, pictograms and directional/ ellevational signage), and in tune with tackling the needs discovered upon researching, a theme of ‘contrast’ is carried out through mixed materials, fonts and textures.
This theme encompasses the overall contrasting identity of the museum: 20th vs 21st century architecture, antiquity pieces vs contemporary exhibitions, teaching spaces vs exhibiting spaces, public access vs student access.
The highlight of this project was creating a landmark for the Museum which combines mixed materials and fonts and provides a meeting place/ talking point for university students.
