The Poppyshop, situated on Lygon street Carlton, is one of Melbourne’s oldest and most loved toy stores. Founded in 1957, the shop’s intergenerational customer base and nostalgic essence is what makes it so popular and iconic.

A key theme I wanted to pursue within my designs revolved around pre-internet, catalogue style graphics.
Aiming to throw our primary audience of 60s and 70s born parents and grandparents back in time with nostalgic styled graphics in order to give the same experince online as we do in store.
