Fashion Rebrand 

The Dover Street Market holds as much of an unique exhibition experience as it is does retail. Unconvential and deconstructed are two of the adjectives tied to the founder, Rei Kawkubo’s, design aesthetic and two themes I attempted to use in my applications.
    I maintain a contemporary, geometric and monochrome aesthetic to encompass the identity as well as draw symbolic correspondance to close relative brand COMMES des Garcon.   
  I make the branding more universal with a stronger importance placed on ‘market’, representing the company’s growth beyond its intial flagship in Dover Street.
    Maintaining a degree of exclusivity to the brand was imperitive and this is achieved through the logo’s illusive and especial design.
